Over the past couple of weeks I have been in the process of creating my music magazine consisting of my front cover, contents page and double page spread. In this post I will be taking you through the images that I have used on my music magazine in which I have changed. I will be showing a before and after screenshot of the images.
This is the image after the modifications. As you can see I have cropped the image so that the person within the image is the main focus.
This is another image that I have used on my music magazine. This is the before screenshot.
As you can see I have made the image smaller so that I was able to have it on my contents page. I have increased the saturation on this image so that it sticks out on my contents page.
This is a third image that I have used on my music magazine. This is the before screenshotThis after screenshot. I have used the lasso tool in Photoshop to cut around the image and used a feather rating of 20 so that around the outside of the image there is a bright light/glow. This then makes the image stand out and means the audience will be immediately drawn to the image.
This is a 4th image that I have used on my music magazine double page spread. This is the before aftershot.
This is the image after the modifications. As you can see I have cropped the image and have also increased the saturation of the image so that the image is more of a professional standard and to also emphasise how popular the artist is.
This is the last image that I have on my music magazine. This is the before screenshot.
This is the image after the modifications. As you can see I have again used the lasso tool to cut the image out to be left with the head of the person. I have done this because I wanted the audience to be drawn to this image and so that the interview is being spoken by the artist when they are reading.
